LUÜNA’s “Empowered, Period.” Campaign

This fundraising event will see empowering women (including Catherine Gurtin from PathFinders and Adella Namagambe from Refugee Union) at the forefront of educating people on Hong Kong’s period poverty. The proceeds will work towards LUÜNA’s aim to bring free period products to individuals from underserved communities. The evening will be complemented with food, drinks and goodie bags.

Centre for Refugees’ World Refugee Day Celebration Event

Being a refugee is not a choice. World Refugee Day is on Tuesday, 20 June – commemorate refugees’ resilience and bravery with Christian Action Centre for Refugees’ weekend event. It’ll feature henna booths, African Djembe tryouts, a mini leather wallet making workshop and more interactive programs to educate on the crisis of refugee migration.

French May 2023: His Temple

On 10 June at the Hong Kong City Hall Concert Hall, musician Olivier Cong will collaborate with Karena Lam, ambassador of the French May Arts Festival, choreographer Ong Wing Lock and Zelia Tam to create a dialogue of contemporary music and dance inspired by Guy de Maupassant’s short story Clair de Lune.
